Our Pre Purchase Home Buyers Quote Service will provide you with a detailed and accurate quote for any repairs or changes you’d like to make to the property so there are no surprises once you’ve moved in and decide to carry out the work.
Our service covers extensions, renovations and any internal / structural work required. We’ll also be able to point out any potential issues with the property to let you know how much it will cost to put things right. When there are issues with next homes, having a quote for that essential work can be vital when negotiating a fair price.
How much does it cost?
We offer this outside of our general building services and we do charge to quote for you. This means we can dedicate real time and effort to establishing what’s actually required and the costs that would be involved. This fee also allows us to act quickly for you making home buyers quotes a priority as we know time is of the essence when going through the house buying process.
It’s important to note we are not structural surveyors and our quotes are not to be considered as a structural survey. We will always advise a structural survey is also carried out when purchasing a property.
How does the service work?

We’ll meet you at the property on your preferred day and at the arranged time. Once there, we’ll walk around with you taking notes to gather all the necessary information to be able to provide you with a prompt, detailed quote.
The fee we charge for this service will be deducted from our final bill to do the work for you should your house purchase be successful and you decide to carry out the work with P Major & Daughters. Our estimates last for 6 months giving you plenty of time to move in and make those all important decisions!
Please note, we only charge for our Buyers Quote service if you are considering purchasing a property. We do not charge for quotes for already occupied home owners as they are usually less time sensitive.
