• Last summer, Paul and his handyman, Sean, came and built us an en suite bathroom in our Victorian semi. I was at home with our new born baby at the time, and they were a pleasure to have around the house and were always thoughtful and polite. The job was demanding and there were lots of things to do carefully because it was a new addition – not a like for like replacement. Paul and Sean worked hard and had the job finished much earlier than we expected – on price and ahead of time. The bathroom is finished to a really high standard – plaster, electrics, tiling, stud work – all millimetre perfect. Paul’s attention to detail and approachable style really made this job a success. We’re so pleased that we’re planning to invite the pair of them back to do our loft next summer too!

• We contracted Paul to rebuild our chimney after the neighbours spotted that it was cracked through. Paul got his brick guys in and within a couple of days, we had a new stack in place. Great quality job and really nice and hardworking guys to boot. Paul managed it all really smoothly with good communication and friendly manner. Great price, no mess left over at all, and real attention to detail which for us was the most important thing. Needless to stay, the chimney survived the recent high winds – I think the neighbours were as thrilled as we were!

• Paul has recently completed a single storey rear extension and reconfiguration of the ground floor at our home and we couldn’t be happier with his work.

  Primarily his workmanship has been of the highest standard and the price was competitive in comparison to other quotes we obtained for the work. In addition, we were extremely impressed with the way Paul managed the job, both in terms of any subcontractors that were required to keeping us up to date with progress and giving us plenty of notice ahead of any design decisions that had to be made.

  We were expecting our 1st child at the time of the works but Paul made sure the project ran on time and to budget which made the experience a lot less stressful . The team were polite, courteous and considerate of the fact that we were living in the house whilst the works were going on and often stayed late to ensure the house was as clean as it could be for us both.

• Paul undertook a large two storey 3 stage extension on our house in 2012.

  This involved a two story front extension to form 4th master bedroom, office, utility room and hallway. Plus dormer to front of existing front to form 5th bedroom. Side extension to increase size of existing kitchen plus internal works to open plan kitchen.

  Paul was at all times very professional, courteous and hard working. He takes his work very serious and this can be seen in the quality of his workmanship.

  He offered useful advice throughout the whole project and his attention to detail was pleasing to see.

  He is friendly and reliable and is always honest and upfront if something is not possible or if he believes something is better done a different way.

  Because of all of the above Paul made our build a much more pleasurable experience than we had imagined it would have been and with this in mind I would have no reservations in recommending his work to friends and family.

• My wife and I employed Paul to extend our kitchen by knocking through into the back of the garage. Paul essentially project managed the build with very little need for input from me or my wife. He dealt with building control and coordinated not only all his subcontractors but also the kitchen fitters (employed by a third party) without fault. My main worry was that while I was at work my wife (and four month old baby) would be left to deal all the normal problem questions that come up during an extension. I am over the moon to say that there were none and that Pauls guys not only were brilliant with my family but also with my neighbours to the extent that some have asked for his contact details for their own builds (no mean feat when you have a skip on a shared drive for a few weeks). Paul was in almost daily contact and fitted the build as much around our schedule as was possible.
